Parking is free for all visitors to the Sainsbury Centre. A dedicated car park (P7 and P7A) is located directly opposite the Centre.

To enjoy complimentary parking, please register your vehicle at our museum reception desk within 20 minutes of arrival. To view the PDF version of the map, click here.
Sainsbury Centre Car Park Map
Several University of East Anglia (UEA) campus car parks are also available free of charge for Sainsbury Centre visitors during the Centre’s opening hours. Outside of opening hours, UEA parking terms, conditions, and charges may apply.
Closest and Most Accessible Parking
The nearest car parks to the Sainsbury Centre are:
- Sainsbury Centre Car Park (P7 and P7A), located directly opposite the Centre
- Central Car Park (P5), a short distance away
There are also four disabled parking spaces along the road parallel to the Centre, positioned directly opposite our entrances.
Additional disabled bays are available in P5.
Overflow Parking
If nearby spaces are full, overflow parking is available at:
- Norfolk Road (P15)
- Suffolk Road (P16)
Weekend Parking
During weekends, visitors may also use:
- Main Car Park (P1)
- West Car Parks (P2 and P3)
Important Information for UEA Staff and Students
Please note, UEA Staff and Students are not allowed to park in Sainsbury Centre car parks (P7 and P7A).
