Smartify Audio Tours
Our new Universal Ticket allows access to our entire gallery. This ticket operates on a ‘Pay If and What You Can’ basis.

Our new audio tours highlight some of the most unique objects from our global collection. We recognise art as alive and have created two immersive audio experiences to help bring it to life for you.Through the Smartify app, you can discover new ways to meet the living art in our collection and connect with your favourite pieces.
Living Art invites you to meet art in new and explorative ways, unlike how you have experienced it in a museum before. You will be asked to touch the artwork, listen to it, move with it, and forge a personal relationship with it that can transcend time.
Sharing Stories empowers you to choose the voice of the artwork you want to listen to. More than thirty contributors from all around the world help reveal the intimate relationships anyone can form with art. Choose between artist, expert or lived experience and build the relationship that feels right for you.
How to use:
- Download the free Smartify app at Smartify.org
- Click ‘Explore’ in the app and search for ‘Sainsbury Centre’
- Browse our audio tours
Scan an object
You can also use the Smartify app to scan our objects. If you want to find out more about an object in our collection, just click ‘scan’ and point your camera at an object to reveal its life story,
You can also save objects you have scanned to your smartphone in a personal digital collection which you can share with others on Smartify.
