Kids Aloud with Art Fund

At the Sainsbury Centre, art is for everyone, and we welcome children all year round. But throughout the summer we have a range of magical adventures awaiting our smallest visitors ensuring that they, and their adults, can relax, get creative and be themselves.

We are proud to be taking part in Art Fund’s Kids Aloud campaign, aimed at ensuring parents of young children feel welcomed into museums and galleries.

All events are free.

Please note that Kids aloud is aimed at children under five.

Any time:

• Pick up a children’s activity basket for families at reception for free, which includes binoculars for the eagle-eyed minds, drawing equipment and other exploratory objects.
• Look out for our exhibition prompts for small visitors, using our ‘toy-tools’ to fire their imaginations and start family conversations around the artworks.
• Download our Sculpture Park Pocket Map, or collect a copy at reception, which includes fun activities for all ages.
• Pick up a copy of Your Place and Mine, a resource for exploring inside the gallery with young children.

Our Universal Ticket works on a ‘Pay If and What You Can’ basis and gives access across the permanent collection, lower and Mezzanine galleries and Sculpture Park, plus parking is free.
