Campus: Drawing from the Walkway

How can drawing help us to make sense of our surroundings? Whatever your level of experience, the process of translating the world around us into lines on paper can be exhilarating and rewarding.

In this workshop with artist Paul Patrick Fenner, we will draw from the walkways of the UEA campus, with reference to images from art and architectural history. Working individually at first on some fast-paced drawings of the architectural space and the people moving through it, we will come together in the second half of the session to collaborate on one huge panoramic drawing spread out on the ground.

This workshop is free and open to UEA and NUA students only. There are limited places available. No art skills or experience necessary.

Participants should assemble at the Sainsbury Centre reception at the beginning of the workshop.
