Jomon earthenware jar
Life Story
This large globular shaped-jar has beenckened in most areas and shows circular and curvilinear patterning. The neck is tall and of a quadripartite construction decorated with four rope-twist features. There is some damage to the rim and the jar shows evidence of repair for reconstruction purposes.
