Pot with Face on the Rim
Life Story
This compressed ovoid jar has a spout in the centre and the face sits atop the rim of neck of the jar. The facial features show large almond-shaped eyes surmounted by curved V-shape eyebrows that meet in the centre. Eyes have a closed appearance with a perforated hole representing the mouth. The face shows small ears with some evidence of a hair feature on the reverse. The pot is a grey colour with a faint curvilinear patterning on the jar.
